The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine was opened at the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Clinical Immunology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. Fundamental research on traditional Chinese medicine is ongoing. Close contacts are being established with scientific medical institutions in China. Li West became the first company in Russia to organize training in traditional Chinese medicine for doctors with classical European medical education.
